These terms govern your access to and use of SoundLibs (soundlibs.com, "the Site"). By visiting, registering or purchasing you agree to them. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.
1. The service
The Site provides browsing, preview and download of audio assets (background music, sound effects, UI motion) and AI audio generation. Some features require an account or a membership.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials safe. Accounts are for your own use and may not be transferred, rented or shared. You are responsible for losses caused by your failure to safeguard your credentials; contact us immediately if you notice unauthorised use.
3. Membership and payment
Memberships are charged once for the period selected (monthly or yearly) at the price shown on the Site. Access ends when the period ends — we do not auto-renew or auto-charge in the current version; you renew by purchasing again. AI generation is billed in points, and points are automatically refunded if a generation fails or times out. Price changes never affect a period you have already purchased.
4. Licence for assets
Each asset is labelled "Commercial" or "Personal". Commercial assets may be used in videos, podcasts, advertising, games, apps and social media without attribution. Under any licence you may not: resell the asset itself, redistribute it as part of an asset or music library, or use it to build a competing library.
5. AI-generated content
AI outputs declare their origin. You may not use the service to create unlawful, infringing or misleading content, or to impersonate others or clone their voice. You are responsible for how you use generated content.
6. Prohibited conduct
No scraping or automated bulk download, no bypassing download or generation limits, no uploading infringing content, and no attacking or disrupting the Site or its providers. We may limit or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
7. Intellectual property
Copyright in assets remains with their rights holders; we licence them lawfully. The Site's marks, interface and code belong to us.
8. Changes and termination
We may add, change or retire features; material changes will be announced in advance. You may stop using the Site at any time, and may request account deletion through the contact form.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The Site is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid in the 12 months before the dispute.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Please contact us first; unresolved disputes go to the competent Hong Kong courts.
